Two weeks on one of the most electric campuses in the country—and your teen gets to spend it doing something they actually love. iD Tech Academies drop teens into a real collegiate environment where they'll build something they're proud of, find their people, leave with a college-ready digital portfolio, and come home a little more sure of who they are.
Something on this list is going to click for them. From AI to game dev to robotics, every course is built around deep immersion, not just a survey. Teens leave with an impressive project—and a clear sense of what they want to pursue next.

Startup vibes, intensive curriculum, peer-to-peer learning, and instruction from relatable Gen Z experts. Over two weeks, teens will build an impressive portfolio project—a real, finished project (think: playable Unity game, trained ML model, or functional VEX robot) that lives on their resume, shows up in their college essays, and gives admissions officers something most applicants simply can't offer: proof. They'll meet and work with likeminded peers, and leave with a network of talented friends and mentors.
Academy students at UW have the opportunity for unique collegiate and career-oriented experiences that may include:
From its Collegiate Gothic architecture to its prestigious reputation in medicine, engineering, and scientific research, the University of Washington provides an inspiring summer camp setting for kids and teens.
During outdoor activities across UW’s lush green spaces, meals at Local Point, and breaks between lab sessions, iD Tech students experience college life while enjoying everything this Seattle campus has to offer—including Drumheller Fountain with its stunning view of Mount Rainier. Location-specific traditions include boba tea runs and visits to Area 01 for pool, ping pong, and gaming.
