[INITIALIZING]: SUMMER WITH AI
iD Tech is the premier destination for all things AI! Artificial intelligence is an ever-growing topic that is quickly becoming embedded into every future career path (even the ones that don’t exist yet). iD Tech prides itself on remaining at the forefront of STEM education—and the AI era is no different. As we move deeper into this era, know that we are doing so ethically and responsibly. Every iD Tech course is researched, written, and refined by our team of human educators. We use AI the way we teach students to use it: as a tool to enhance human creativity, never to replace it. That means real experts decide what matters, what's developmentally appropriate, and what will actually prepare kids for the future.

Our real promise for artificial intelligence
In a recent survey of iD Tech parents, 60% said understanding AI is essential to their kids' education. In the same survey, 90% of iD Tech parents shared concerns about how their kids learn about AI. We agree. With any powerful new technology, the approach matters. After 25 years of teaching kids to use tech responsibly, we're ready for this moment. We are making three commitments to you and your family:

1. Students will learn how to use AI responsibly.
When kids use AI tools at iD Tech, they do so under the guidance of an experienced instructor who will emphasize ethics, privacy, and responsible usage throughout the course.

2. Students will have more opportunities to learn AI.
We've offered dedicated AI courses since 2022—before the current boom—and this year, you'll see AI tools woven into courses across multiple disciplines. Students will learn to use AI the right way: to support their work, not do it for them.

3. Humans will continue to teach our students.
For more than 25 years, iD Tech camps, academies, and private lessons have been taught by an experienced, live instructor. That will not change.
